Join The Ohio State University Black Alumni Society and The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Atlanta for an inspiring Black History Month webinar.
Tuesday, March 4th from 7-8 PM ET.
This virtual event will feature distinguished speakers Dr. Hasan Jeffries, a College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Associate Professor of History with expertise in African-American History, and Cornelius Green, the trailblazing first African-American quarterback to start for Ohio State, All-American, and 1975 Big Ten Most Valuable Player.
Gain valuable insights into the rich history and enduring impact of Black and African Americans in higher education and athletics.
Attendees will also have a chance to win a signed Cornelius Green football in a special drawing.

“A Buckeye Adventure Across America” with Imran Nuri
We are excited to invite Buckeyes across America to hear from Imran Nuri (BSBA ’20), an artist and author based in Chicago, who is best known for his photo series and book, Advice From America. Driving over 15,000 miles in the span of 84 days in 2022, he went searching for the meaning of life by asking 1,000 strangers across the lower 48 U.S. states about what they wished they had known earlier and photographing each of them on a 50-year-old film camera. Imran’s talk presents his journey across America and the findings of 1,000 pieces of advice from strangers to show what Americans believe to be true about making the most of life.
